It’s fall, ya’ll!

It’s finally here, pumpkin everrrrrrything. Cue pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin popcorn.. am I missing anything?

This is my absolute favorite time of the year. It takes me back to my childhood, being outside playing field hockey, and watching the leaves change colors before they drop. While some days I don’t know how to dress because its in the 40’s int he morning but high 70’s in the afternoon, I absolutely have dusted off my boots and pulled out my winter sweaters. I’ve also been guilty of picking up Southern Living’s “Best Fall Recipes” magazine while in the checkout line of Target. But as the weather gets cooler and it gets darker earlier, what a perfect excuse to try new belly-warming, nourishing recipes!

I have made it a priority to try at least one new recipe each week. Some I find on Pinterest, some through other food websites, but what I am most excited about are the ones that make the list for my personalized meal plans!

As a busy mom of 3 little boys, trying to build and run her own business, while also prioritizing my own mental and physical health, the recipes that appeal most to me are nourishing, colorful, flavorful, and fairly quick to prepare! Want to know my favorites so far?

-Smoky Lentil Soup

-Chicken and Biscuit Pot Pie

-Cheesy Lasagna Soup

-Cod Florentine

One thing I like to do with my clients is challenge them to try at least one new food per week. This could be a singular item (like a new fruit or veggie) OR it could be a new recipe! So here is my challenge to you - can you try one new recipe this week?
